Sharia (or Sharia) Affairs was founded as an online portal and an online journal (known as Shariah Affairs Journal) containing articles and findings in relevant areas of interest from a Shariah/Muslim perspective including from the perspectives of mainstream orthodox Muslims living in the West; not least, the wider Muslim identity of those living in the West is gradually evolving into a new unique subcategory of Muslim identity yet seldom recognised by many online portals and journals. Areas of interest are pursued on a need basis.
Shariah Affairs aims to publish or post works of different scholars and authors in the fields of Shariah matters (Islamic law), Muslim affairs, community relations, interfaith matters, Islamic economy & Islamic finance, and current/international affairs. Works include articles, opinions, Op-eds and academic writings/essays from journals.
Shariah Affairs welcomes submission of articles, op-eds, and academic papers. Please go to the submission page for more details.
